Every rental includes full insurance, unlimited miles and two DOT-approved full-face helmets. In Florida the Slingshot is classified as an autocycle, so no motorcycle license is required, just a valid driver’s license, and drivers must be 21 or older. We’re a husband-and-wife-owned team of South Florida locals running a clean, new 20-Slingshot fleet since 2020.

Driver criteria

- The license and credit card used for the reservation must be presented on the rental day for verification.
Passenger policy
All riders must be tall enough to sit with their back against the seat, both feet flat on the floor, and the seat belt properly secured. No child safety seats.
Details
Deposits and fees
A flat $150 refundable damage deposit is placed on the card used for your reservation, for every driver 21 and older. It’s a hold, not a charge.
Vehicle damage
Return your Slingshot in the same great shape and the hold is released the same day. Each driver is responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental, per the rental agreement.
Weather protection
South Florida showers usually pass fast. We recommend adding Sensible Weather’s Weather Guarantee at checkout: if rainfall during your rental window passes the threshold in your guarantee, you are reimbursed automatically, with no claim forms. Without the Guarantee we can’t refund for weather, but we’ll always do our best to move your ride to a better time.
Refund and cancellation policy
We don’t offer refunds, but we make it easy to protect your plans. Give us at least 24 hours’ notice and you’ll receive full credit or a gift card toward a future booking. Your credit never expires and is fully transferable.
